What is ETBO?

ETBO is a scientific methodology and digital platform for diagnosing, designing and empowering high-performance teams. It is based on behavioural science, data and innovation and agility tools to convert groups into functional teams in a measurable and sustainable way.

ETBO is the acronym for Easy Teamwork Behaviour Observation. We also present it as: ETBO - Human Empowerment Through Behavioral Science, Innovation and Data.

ETBO was born from a mixed scientific research: inductive (direct observation) and deductive (based on psychological theories and models). Validated by the UAB, it was developed by Dr. in psychology Joan Anton Ros and adapted to agile and organisational environments.

Yes, each brings a key part to the functioning of the team. A team may not have all 8 roles but it will need to understand what it has and what it lacks to maximise its potential and performance.

ETBO does not just identify individual personality traits. It goes one step further: it analyses the actual behaviours that emerge in collaborative contexts and helps to redesign teams from within. Unlike classic tests, ETBO looks at how the team functions as a system. This makes it possible to understand why certain teams flow... and others get blocked.

How is the impact of the methodology measured?

Through the ETBO Team Scan, which assesses the evolution of the team in terms of cohesion, collaboration, self-awareness, use of tools, and perception of impact before and after the intervention.

When you are building a new team, when you have detected tensions or lack of alignment, or simply when you know you have good talent, but it doesn't quite work as a team. What happens if my equipment changes frequently?

ETBO allows you to redesign the team or rebalance it according to new members. You can repeat the test or reinforce it with integration sessions.

Yes, although it does not replace selection tools, it allows a better understanding of the integration of new profiles in the team and prevents frictions.

How do I contract ETBO services and products?

You can contact us for a demo or a customised proposal. We adapt the package according to your company, number of teams and needs.

Yes, we have models per team, per volume of reports, annual licences or subscriptions (especially for consultancies, academies and large organisations).

Who can be certified as an ETBO Partner?

Psychologists, coaches, facilitators, experts in agility or organisational culture who want to accompany teams with rigour. It is not necessary to have worked with ETBO previously.

Practical training, access to materials, real cases, support from ETBO Advisors, presence in the ecosystem and the possibility of intervening as a facilitator.

Yes, once certified, you can apply the ETBO methodology with your clients. Reports and services are always contracted through ETBO to maintain traceability.

What if I have already used other tools such as DISC, MBTI or PI?

ETBO does not compete, it complements. If you have already used personality-centred tools, you will see how ETBO brings you an additional layer focused on observable behaviour and group dynamics. You can integrate previous learning and build a more functional team from there. Many of our partners combine tools in their talent processes.

Yes, we comply with all European data protection regulations (GDPR) and apply anonymisation criteria when it comes to collective feedback. The results are shared with whoever you authorise, and we always respect the confidentiality of the teams.
