At ETBO, we firmly believe in the benefits of diversity and the complementarity of a team.
Each collaborator brings a unique perspective, diverse experiences and specific skills. When we bring these pieces together, the results are extraordinary. ETBO has identified eight natural roles, each with its own set of skills, behaviours and strengths. By leveraging these differences, we make the sums of the parts go further.

Diversity is not only about race, gender or age, but also about diversity of thought, work experience and educational background. By fostering a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment, we enable every member of our team to feel valued and heard, which encourages creativity, innovation and problem solving from multiple perspectives. Together, we go beyond traditional boundaries and achieve exceptional results.

At ETBO, we celebrate differences and believe in the strength of diversity. We foster an environment where each person can be authentic and unique, and where our individual strengths (team roles) enhance each other. We value inclusion and know that only by working together, we will go further than we could ever go individually.

INNOVATIVE PROPOSAL

  • The methodology is based on the exhaustive observation of natural behaviours in the teams.
  • The aim is to achieve team cohesion, results orientation, meeting deadlines and quality standards, and constant innovation.
  • The methodology was developed through rigorous and scientific research validated by the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
  • The methodology has been recognised as innovative in observing and validating the behaviour of people working in teams.
  • The methodology is constantly being adapted with experts from the sector and psychologists.

Mainstreaming

It is based on a large sample of people and teams, both in terms of gender, age, cultural level and profession. Some multidisciplinary teams The sample consisted of executives, CEOs, middle management, doctors, engineers, financiers, nurses, psychologists, master's and postgraduate students. This is a differential characteristic compared to other research carried out with smaller samples or more uniform groups, which makes it more transversal and stable, which makes it a more stable study. allows it to be replicated in many other groups.

Objectivity

By managing to narrow down some of the behaviours that recur consistently in all team dynamicsThe fact that the observation of this behaviour is more objective, because it eliminates the subjectivity and interpretation of the observer. This is one of the major problems faced by HR professionals and team leaders when carrying out selection processes.

Versatility

This univocal language to differentiate and objectify behaviours has allowed us to create two ETBO products: a self-perception test to be carried out by the interviewee or person interested in learning about their natural team roles, and a observation tool fast and very intuitive, for recruitment and HR professionals, middle management or third parties interested in knowing the competencies of potential candidates, collaborators or colleagues.

Verifiability

These are two tools (self-perception test and observation template) that are based on the analysis of a same source of behaviour previously objectified and validated, it eliminates the subjectivity of both the evaluated and the evaluator, since it is a mutually validating circular system. This methodology avoids as far as possible one of the most frequent sources of error detected in most theoretical frameworks related to team roles, where the results of the self-perception test of the evaluated person do not usually coincide with the results obtained by other observers.
